Objectives:

To strengthen  the understanding of the principles of  various branches of fundamental sciences by application of mathematical concepts; to familiarise with the mathematical and statistical modelling approaches to solve the research problems in the areas of physical, chemical, life, environmental, health, earth, planetary and ocean sciences.

For whom this is intended:

Final Semester M.Sc. students from University Departments and PG Departments in affiliated colleges; Research scholars whose research area needs application of mathematics and statistics in solving the their research problems;  university and college teachers in basic sciences who handle topics which need a strong mathematical foundation.

No of Participants:

Total 100; PG students: 40;  Research Scholars: 20; young research scientists: 20; teachers in basic sciences: 20. There is no registration fee.

Local Hospitality:

(Accommodation for out station participants and their local transport from venue to place of accommodation & back, and food) for the participants will be met by KSCSTE. No TA /DA will be provided which they have to be met from their research projects/institutions
